Why choose us

Built around the way a visit should feel.

A comfortable, spa-like setting, honest up-front costs, and a practice that can handle nearly every part of your care in one place.

A team member going through a form with a patient on the blue velvet sofa in the lounge.
01

Dental anxiety, taken seriously

Up to three in four Americans feel some fear of the dentist.

Tell us what worries you and we will talk you through every step before it happens. Bring headphones and music, raise your left hand whenever you want a break, and ask about nitrous oxide, which works within minutes and leaves no hangover.

02

You see what we see

Being told a tooth needs work, and having to take it on faith.

Digital x-rays, a 3D cone beam scanner and an intraoral camera put clear, enlarged images on the screen in front of you, so your diagnosis is shown rather than described. Costs are explained up front, before treatment.

Some common procedures, explained.

Teeth Whitening

Custom whitening trays, ready to pick up in a day or two, with a whitening agent to use at home. Whiten just the top teeth, or the top and bottom if both show when you smile.

Porcelain Veneers

Very thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front of the teeth. They hide discolouration, chips, cracks and teeth worn from years of use, and protect them from further chipping.

Dental Crowns

At least two visits: the tooth is shaped and fitted with a temporary crown, then the final crown is fitted, adjusted and cemented in place.

Dental Bonding

A resin coloured to match your teeth, sculpted and polished over a chip, crack or stain. Often finished in a single visit.

Dental technology

A technologically advanced office.

Drs. Schwartz and Zoller choose carefully when radiographs are taken and which kind, to published guidelines. The equipment is here to see more precisely and to explain more clearly.

  • Cone beam 3D imagingA CS 9300 scanner that images only the area of concern, limiting radiation and cutting down on extra visits.
  • iTero digital scannerA hand-held wand in place of trays of impression gel. No goop, no gag, no mess.
  • Digital x-raysAbout half the exposure time of traditional radiographs, and shared instantly with a specialist or insurer.
  • Dental microscopesHigh-power magnification, like an ophthalmologist's, for a precise fit and finish.
  • Intraoral cameraA camera a few millimetres long, so you see clear, enlarged images of your own teeth and gums.

She treats them just like a mother would treat her own children. She is beyond professional and always does an exceptional job. Common questions

What people ask before they book.

Do you take my insurance?

We are in-network with a variety of insurance plans, and as a courtesy we bill your insurance company and track the claim for you. Most insurers respond within four to six weeks. Call or text 908-499-8707 and we will check your plan. No insurance? Ask about our in-house membership plan.

I am nervous about the dentist. Can you help?

Tell us what you are afraid of; often the right information is enough to ease it. We explain what we are doing before, during and after treatment, you are welcome to bring headphones and music, and you can signal for a break with your left hand at any point. Nitrous oxide is available too.

When should my child first see a dentist?

Between the first and third birthday. The first visit is short and involves very little treatment: we may ask you to hold your child in the chair while we gently examine their teeth and gums, and we will go through how to care for their teeth at home.

I am in pain. Can I be seen today?

Call or text the office. If you have pain or an emergency, every attempt will be made to see you that day.

What happens at my first visit?

An examination and a review of your treatment options. Treatment can usually be done or started the same day. Please bring any x-rays from a previous dentist, a list of the medications you take, and your completed insurance forms. Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

How do you keep the office clean and safe?

The whole team follows the procedures of OSHA, the EPA and the CDC: gloves and masks, disinfection of every surface, disposable materials, and sterilisation of all reusable equipment, including handpieces, in a steam autoclave before every use.

How often should I have my teeth cleaned?

Twice a year as a preventive measure, and every three to four months if you have periodontitis. Between visits, a soft brush held at a 45 degree angle to the gum line, with small gentle circles, does the most good.
